How to Uninstall Yahoo Mail Toolbar in Easy Steps

The Yahoo! Toolbar is a popular browser add-on that works with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. The toolbar shows on your homepage and every other web page, enabling quick-access buttons for checking your Yahoo! Mail account, viewing local weather statistics and information, accessing a Facebook account, and bookmarking favorite websites. You can uninstall the toolbar from your favorite web browser if you don't like it or unintentionally download it with another programme.

 

This is a step-by-step manual for completely Uninstall Yahoo Mail Toolbar from your computer. This was tested with the most recent versions of the Yahoo Toolbar installer on operating systems with the most recent updates and browser versions, and it worked 99 percent of the time.

 

Method 1: Disable Yahoo in the Control Panel

  • Choose the Start menu choose Control Panel option 

  • Select Uninstall a software from the drop-down list 

  • Choose Uninstall from the Yahoo Software Update menu.

  • Select Uninstall option  from the Yahoo Toolbar menu.

  • Uninstall any other apps you don't recognize or don't recall installing, regardless of whether or not they're related to Yahoo.

 

Method 2: Resetting Google Chrome

  • Launch Google Chrome in a new tab.

  • Select Settings from the browser menu button.

  • Show advanced settings is located at the bottom of the Settings menu bar.

  • Scroll to the bottom of the Settings menu and select "Reset browser settings" from the drop-down menu.

  • Enter the Reset option to confirm that you want to reset Google Chrome. The Yahoo Toolbar will be removed from future Chrome sessions, and the browser will be reset.


 

Method 3: Mozilla Firefox resetting

  • Open a new Firefox window on your PC.

  • To receive help, select "Help" from the Firefox menu button.

  • Select "Troubleshooting Information" from the Help menu.

  • Tab on Reset Firefox option in the upper right corner of the troubleshooting panel.

  • Click "Reset Firefox" once more to indicate that you want to reset your browser settings. Firefox will close and reopen after a brief period of inactivity.

  • Click on the Finish Button from the drop-down option, The Yahoo Toolbar will no longer appear in subsequent Firefox sessions when the browser has been reset.

 

Method 4: Internet Explorer Reset (IE)

  • Start a new Internet Explorer session.

  • Select Internet Options from the gear icon in the top right corner of Internet Explorer.

  • Choose Advanced, Reset.

  • Mark Delete personal settings with a checkmark, enter Reset option.

  • To confirm that you want to reset Internet Explorer, press  Close. - Chrome settings will be reset, and the Yahoo Toolbar will no longer appear in subsequent Internet Explorer sessions.
